Renovations/Important Information:
RENOVATION NOTICE
The Kauai Beach Hotel and Resort is currently undergoing a $17 million dollar renovation project, anticipated to be completed by September 15, 2006 (renovations are subject to change without notice).

The hotel will close and renovated one building at a time. Work hours will be daily from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (subject to change). Disturbances are to be expected.

Renovation details are as follows:

Quartzite tile has been placed on the walkways and pool deck.

An additional whirlpool (can accommodate up to 18 people) and a few more waterfalls in the
grotto area have been added to compliment three of the four pools.

A 90-foot lava tube slide (pre-built) is presently on the water and will be installed by September
15, 2006. This should not be disruptive to our guest as it is being placed on the outside boundaries of the sand-bottom pool.

Added an Executive Club Floor.

Upgrading of our meeting facilities the target completion date for that project should be September 28.

Finally, all 350 rooms have been almost completely renovated. We have finished the bathrooms; travertine tile entryways, bedding with soft goods, and wainscoting guest hallways (attractive plantation style ) will be ongoing until September 15, 2006.
